Bracknell Forest Liberal Democrats Launch Campaign to Save Bracknell Post Office

Bracknell Forest Post Office

Bracknell Town Centre Post Office provides essential services that thousands of people rely on every week, including banking, bill payments, postal services and access to government services. For many older residents and those who are unable to access services online, it remains a vital lifeline.

The Liberal Democrats believe that closing the Post Office would undermine efforts to maintain a thriving town centre and leave many residents facing longer journeys to access services they currently use locally.

We have launched a petition to demonstrate the strength of local opposition and to send a clear message to decision-makers that Bracknell cannot afford to lose this important community asset.

Councillor Jo Hawley said:

"This closure would have a real impact on people's daily lives. The Post Office is not just a shop counter, it is an essential public service used by residents, pensioners and businesses across our community. We are determined to fight for its future."

Bracknell Forest Liberal Democrats are calling on residents to support the campaign by signing and sharing the petition with family, friends and neighbours.

Bracknell Forest Liberal Democrats Chairman Mike Forster said “the more signatures collected, the stronger the case for keeping the Post Office open”.

The message is simple: Bracknell Post Office matters. If we want to keep this vital service in our town, we need to stand together and make our voices heard.
